The only thing Sessions will be activating any time soon is his campaign to get his old Senate seat back from Doug Jones in 2020.
yeah that ain't ever gonna happen his name is mud in his home state now.
I wish, jake. I will absolutely be voting against him in the primary, but there is no one with nearly as much name recognition here, and I am pretty confident he'll win. I would much rather see any of our Republican congressmen, Bob Aderholt, Mo Brooks, or my congressman, Gary Palmer, for instance, in that spot, but I doubt any of them could beat Sessions. In fact, Palmer actually told my dad, a couple months ago, that he was waiting until 2022, when Richard Shelby retires, to look at a Senate run. The reason was he thought Sessions would be back in the race in 2020 and he didn't think anybody could beat him.
If he runs we will lose that seat to a democrat in a landslide victory
I doubt it. We already lost it to a Democrat in a special election last year, and people are already sick of him. Doug Jones is a Schumer asslicker and only won because Roy Moore was such a miserable candidate and campaigner. People here don't like Sessions, but we'll hold our noses and vote for him if for no other reason than to get Jones out. No statewide Republican lost in our elections this week, and none of them won by less than 20%, most by 30%+. This place is as red as it gets.
well I guess I better quit calling him out on the mat he would still be a better choice than a demon rat.
He actually wasn't such a bad Senator, but this AG experience has really left a bad taste in my mouth for the guy. I'll be damned if I'm gonna send Doug Jones back to DC, though. He would be much better suited to represent Caifornia than Alabama. He is not one of us.
The more and more I read about what happend it appears sessions got conned into recusing himself by the IG.. he and Rosenstein were behind it. I just do not understand why he appointed Rosenstein? I think it all has to do with Israel and Syria Trump came in and took out their proxy Army That is also why the left hates him.. ISIS was the USAs proxy army
