So, my son was suspended from school 4/4 for defending himself. We were told by a school counselor that he has the right to defend himself and his property, but that is clearly not true. Now he has finished his 4 days out of school suspension and he is currently in “In School Suspension.” Now they are making him write 7 to 10 pages about what he did wrong and saying that his actions are on par with murderers. I SHIT YOU NOT!
So, my question is, do students have the right NOT to be indoctrinated against self defense?
Additionally, that are also asking him to write about the incident and why he did what he did, which is a clear violation of his 5th Amendment rights.
I have a meeting with the school board tomorrow.
