William Barr, former Attorney General who served under George H.W. Bush is President Trump’s top choice to be the next AG according to a report by the Washington Post.
Barr, 68, currently works as a lawyer at Kirkland & Ellis and served as United States Attorney General from 1991-1993.
The decision is not yet final; President Trump may choose someone else to serve as Attorney General.
Another alternate candidate for AG being floated is Congressman John Ratcliffe, a Texas Republican and member of the Freedom Caucus.
