Original Message Birthday, is in Scriptures only three times associated with people we want nothing to do with.
We have no instructions to celebrated our birthdays as believers. The worldly people have always celebrated especially those that think highly of themselves.

When Jesus was born it had to be kept quiet. Many babies and children had to die because of the threat His birth gave.

“Matthew 2:Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.”

All the children from two and under what a horrific event. This type of thing happened in several places and time frames in the Bible.

Exodus 1:22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive. “

“Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. “

Birthdays would not be celebrated for a reason. We are blessed to have not lived in certain times like those.

Jesus's birth and death on earth changed what being born and dying means.

To really celebrate His birth would be to know what He would want for His birthday. All His wishes are in Scriptures.
To celebrate when we are born again and to follow God's will are on top of that list.
