The 2-year-old boy went in for the procedure at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children earlier this week to treat an undescended testicle, the BBC reported. Doctors found the undescended testicle during a check-up.
The boy’s father, who did not release his name in order to protect his son’s identity, told the BBC surgeons “castrated” his son after operating on the wrong testicle.
