"20years on opiates"=what we in the medical profession refer to as "addiction." I'm also a recovering addict. I am a non practicing RN who withdrew from a disgusting dilaudid addiction cold turkey, NOT PRETTY. That said, I am viewing ur posts from a unique perspective-as a medical professional who was required to study chemistry,pharmacology,anatomy,and biology. Also from the perspective of an addict,&if it altered perception I took it. That said, I know that cannabis is not physically addictive. Drug crimes (that r not gang related) r motivated by the physical "need." I am so perplexed by ur motives in demonising cannabis. What works for one individual rarely works for the next. There r just too many variables to consider ur posts even remotely worthy as a point of reference regarding the safety of cannabis.
