[quote:YouAreDreaming:MV8zOTU2OTk1XzcxNTI4OTQ4X0U3MDQ3RkM5] You will be the same being you were when you entered into this experience, but will have evolved and gained new experience as a result of being here. The true self is and always has been you in immersion, but what you really are is the awareness and consciousness experiencing the body. The body is just a vehicle that facilitates the experience and is not you. Just a flesh suit you are wearing. [/quote]

Those who believe in the afterlife usually think they will be the same person in spirit form, but is that true?
When we are born on Earth, our identity/personality/character is all made up by our upbringing and surroundings.
And if reincarnation is real, then we have numerous different identities. So who are we really in the spirit realm?
When we die, and if there is an afterlife, will we even recognize who that person is? Will we be surprised? I'm scared/creeped out thinking about it.
