Original Message If there is going to be a food shortage senerio then very little water will be available too. So when you buy long term food storage think about foods that will not use to much water to cook them or rehydrate them.
So beans and rice are not on my list, because they require alot of cooking time and water use.
AS a cheap I buy Quick Oats and Minute Rice.
