Continued thanks! I ran across this link today. Not a Mormon, but found their preparedness list to be the most detailed, comprehensive list I have run across to date with 222 pages. Anyways, for anyone interested here's the pdf link: https://lostwayscommunity.com/download/LDS%20Preparedness%20Manual%20%28Food%20Storage%2C%20Cooking%2C%20Seed%20Selection%2C%20Survival%20Strategies%2C%20Etc.%29.pdf
The LDS [Mormons] are the very best at stocking for a year, as it is a requirement in their church. AC7840, I am delighted you are enjoying this thread so much, and in great hopes you are preparing your family very well! LDS have great "kitchens" in certain areas across the country, where non-LDS people are allowed in to use their equipment and can their own purchases, after the LDS folks are done for the day. LDS will also bring foods from their cannery to you general location, if you live a distance from the cannery, as I do. Order and pay. They will call you when they have brought the latest load, and you go get your items.' LDS has the lowest-cost preparedness foods of anyone in the country. You have happened onto a treasure, indeed!
I grabbed it Pooka ok
Original Message
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
