[quote:Pooka:MV8zOTYyNTk1Xzc1NTUxOTMwXzI0MkJENDc5] [quote:Anonymous JD:MV8zOTYyNTk1Xzc1NTQ1OTM3Xzg0REZGM0Q=] Pooka, I am still in the Ozarks and I am getting great information on off grid setting up. It is amazing! Will tell more later when I get settled. Chasing a truck issue now, clutch is gone and getting a new one tomorrow no matter the cost. But all is well still, not complaining. Looking forward to moving on after it is fixed. Temperature is dropping now. I am at a weather station staying so it accurate. (Going to talk about weather stations soon.) :hf:
Wonderful to hear from you, my friend! Sorry about your clutch - was it an unusual burn-out, or just normal wear and tear? Hope you can change it yourself, to save labor cost. Yes, fall is falling quickly heading for a cold winter. Have you looked at any places to purchase yet? You are moving on to where? Thought you were staying near your friend to buy a place. Changed your mind? I recommend you be settled someplace before the nineteenth, and with water and preps in hand. Please check out all the threads - we have serious business happening here. Continue to be careful, take care, get preps into your truck, and find a safe place to light for a while by mid-month, okay? Hurry up! And stay in close touch, please. Be looking for military and UN vehicles and let us know where and what you see. Hugs!! :Lord, bless my o:
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
