These will be far safer and more comfortable for many people, including small children. There are even liners for the container that goes under the seat, so that they and contents can be easily discarded into a larger trash bag. Try a thrift shop, yard sale, anyplace you can think of. Not hard to find, and would be a great help to many, including that young child you were just starting to potty train when shtf.
The commode I made is out of an old antique chair...all wood, heavy, arm wrests...VERY comfy, VERY solid. It's the true definition of a "throne" :lmao: - MC
One five gallon bucket Five feet of pipe insulating tube OR a pool noodle with a slit on one side Cat litter or lime for mortar or ash and dirt mixed Garbage bags put the bag in the bucket. secure with the pipe insulating tube or slit pool noodle add cat litter, lime or ash/dirt mixture do business, add a little more litter or stuff seal and discard bag before it gets too full neat and easy
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
