[quote:Pooka:MV8zOTYyNTk1Xzg1ODk5OTYwXzNDQTZFNEEw] [quote:Anonymous Coward 80063078:MV8zOTYyNTk1Xzg1ODkzMzg5X0I5RDMxNDM4] I agree 100% This should be treated the same as a hurricane. WHERE IS FEMA? WHERE IS THE PRESIDENT? WHERE IS THE GOVERNOR OF TEXAS? WHERE ARE THE MAYORS OF TEXAS CITIES? (whew! that felt good!) - MC
Pooka pats MC's shoulder. There, there, MC. You're darned right, MC!! Nobody seems to be helping there, which seems to bear out very well the suggestion that there is anger and discrimination toward Texas for even considering the possibility of seceding from the Union. Because we know, or at least I know - y'all may not have come to this realization - that we manipulate the weather on a daily basis, deliberately - therefore we may very well, nay, likely have put the horrible cold and snow on top of them. We are such nice people - aren't we now?
Original Message
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
