This is about idolatry the 2nd commandment, and the 1st commandment, not having other Gods besides the Lord Jesus.
My friend, whose property I stay on, has Santa stuff. One day Jesus told me to tell her that if she gets rid of all the Santa stuff that he will bless her. What he didn't say is that the opposite is already true, that it id a curse unto her. I waited several days until Jesus prompted me again to tell her so I texted with her this conversation:

If you throw away everything with Santa Claus that you have as you find it, paper Santa, plastic Satan, metal Santa, stone Santa, glass Santa, and not give it away, not store it, but throw it away, then Jesus will bless you. If you don't, then that is what you want.
Her: No. (I) Use the same for years. Why I should change now
Your choice. It is a curse to your life. Read the bible to understand. I am only telling you what Jesus wants me to tell you. But you make your choice, it's what you want, we understand. No pressure. Not just curse to your life, but family, home, possessions, everything, that life. I'm only the messenger.
Her: (thumbs up emoticon). I believe in Jesus because I know he exist. I am not fanatic. And I am not flustered because I am not Jesus only Jesus is perfect
Do you believe in Santa because you know He exists?
Her: Santa don't exist is only a tradition. Jesus exist I know that for sure.
Santa comes from Satan and is Satan and a false God, stealing people's faith in Jesus. Santa is a lie, promoting Santa is telling people lies.
Her: It's been a long time since something not coming to my house (she's referring to thieves coming and stealing her stuff from inside and outside)
Jesus commands us to be perfect, and to keep his commandments. 2 of his commandments are to have no other God, the other is to not make or worship false gods. Putting up Santa for tradition is idolatry, a false god. It is having a fake god that he hates and the true God him, Jesus. Christmas is about Jesus, never about Santa. Well I am only letting you know. I am not upset (with her choice), Jesus is the one who is upset. Maybe watch some video on YouTube 'Is it ok if Christians put up Santa Claus?' If I don't tell you then he will keep bothing me to tell you. If I don't tell you then I don't love you or Jesus. So I said what I had to say. Good night. I won't touch your Santa stuff but if you decide to change your mind and want me to help you I will.
