Some think this was perhaps due to a mistranslation & that it was meant to show rays of light emitted from the head of Moses. In a few of these depictions, it does appear that the “horns” are indeed light. In many depictions of Moses, including Michaelangelos, these are very obvious horns. I would love to hear opinions on why Moses has been shown in such a way. It seems kind of creepy, in my opinion.
Underlying hatred of the Old Covenant by christians ends up being depicted as devil horns on Moses.
I have seen a couple of your posts, it seems that it is you that has an underlying hatred. But you are right in a certain way, there has been a hatred for the "Old covenant". I am sure you are familiar with Marcion and the gnostics. There has been an infiltration for sure. Yahushua was never against the Torah, he spoke a lot about it. In fact He was very much against the traditions of the Pharisees that made void the plain commandment of the Torah. About the horns, well what can you expect from those who make statues and bow down in front of them.
I really hate jesus and christianity. Not hiding it.
I’ve never noticed this before, but there are horns present on the head of Moses in many old paintings, sculptures, tapestries, stained glass windows, etc... I find this to be a bit disconcerting.
