the only solution that's truly viable is that we must be conquered by another empire and be ruled by it in a harsh way at first if we are to go back to the simplistic better way of life we so desperately need

there won't be any Jesus that's going to come and save us, just like there won't be any aliens that will unite us either

we must be destroyed and then rebuilt. it's the only way.
