A woman has opened up about the realities of having to work four jobs to make ends meet, despite having a bachelor's degree.

In an essay published by the HuffPost, Brittany Jones, a 32-year-old blogger and writer living in rural Pennsylvania, has admitted that she has been struggling financially since she graduated from college, and her degree has gone unused.

'I still don’t make anywhere near what someone with a bachelor’s degree is expected [to] earn,' she wrote. 'I don’t have the cushy New York City office with a view. I don’t even make coffee runs for executives in the hopes that one day I’ll move up the ranks.
