Original Message I saw this article posting yhis sceanario on Drudge and I must admit that it peeked my interest. (link below)

I don't believe that it could be an unknown or a minor past contender such as, Jeb, Rubio, Cruz, Christie, Paul or the like.

According to the article, Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan has seemed to "float" the possibility, however I find it to be a wishful long-shot.

The only contender I could come up with was Mitt.
Lot's of power behind the family lieage and a long standing career with a ton of political posturing and knowledge.
Strong background and name recognition.
Comes off as a strong right-wing conservative.
(Personly I think Romney's a dip-wad...but I can't really come up with anybody else with strong enough GOP credentials who might be able give President Trump a real run for his money)

I don't actually believe that any Republician is going to try to usurp Mr. Trumps position, however it is an intriguing thought to play around with.

Any thoughts on this from my fellow GLP'ers.
