[quote:Anonymous Coward 77504605:MV80MDEyNjY4XzcyNzQ4NzI1XzcwMUQyRDVF] Today's younger generation has been indoctrinated and brainwashed to make as many deals with the devil as it takes to make it rich, famous, powerful or whatever it is their little hearts desire. They don't want to be told "NO!" and they don't want to hear about working hard, saving and perseverance to get what they want in life. For the past 30 years, they've been sold on the idea of "Get rich quick" schemes... first with those late night infomercials back in the 90's (like Don Lupre), the into reality to star programming with everything from America's Got Talent to American Idol and just about every variation or iteration of "reality tv" shows where notoriety will make you a star... and the crazier the better (like Jerry Springer or WorldStar). Then you have these lotteries (a tax system) now where the prizes reach into the hundreds of millions of dollars as opposed to something more reasonable. So the idea of buying a precious metal and holding it, compared to bitcoin and cryptocurrency that is "Hip", "Anti-Government" and "of the people" appeals to all of these hipsters who are Internet save, but with most lacking basic economic sense, never having lived out from under debt (credit card to college and car loan payments mainly) so much so that when Mark Dice tried to GIVE a 1 ounce Gold and 1 ounce Silver coins away to people, many refused to even entertain the idea... even standing in front of a coin store! I mean, how lazy or stupid can one be? The mark of the beast is happening. Many wondered how it would appear, but it's here... in the form of Digital RFID and other biometric markers, to digital currency and soon, social credit scores as well. George Orwell and the KGB could have NEVER envisioned such a future world back in the 50's, 60's or 70's!!! In a word, without a bloody and violent revolution, it's over soon. [/quote]

Uh. WTF happened to this generation?
Bitcoin is TERRIBLE idea.
Any electronic currency is TERRIBLE idea.
Grid dependant.
Totally trackable.

Hooray you came up with a (supposedly) unhackable digital currency...
Digital currency is a TERRIBLE idea.
