[quote:Anonymous Coward 74711376:MV80MDIxODI3XzcyODI0OTgzXzM0ODcwNzIy] Credit where credit is due. If you made something happen...something really good...and the person you made it happen for ignored your contribution and took all the credit...would you or would you not be a tad on the miffed side? Yes. God has feelins too. The feelings he has are like ours as they were the original design which he then put into us. In his image. Its not that he is a glory hog or needs worship n stuff. He dosent. He just gets annoyed and hurt when mere men take credit for what HE does. [/quote]

I need to sleep! And he just smacked me with it! So I have to share.
Pride develops when you forget God and you take credit for the things that he does.
To curb it and break it you have to consider God Jesus and the credit that is rightfully his, aka glory (think of spotlight). Turn the spotlight on him for the things that he does.
Jesus helped me draw a boy into the faith today. Later on I said to someone, trying to be an inspirational example, that I did it but I quickly corrected myself because I know I didn't do it but was used by Jesus to do his will.
Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe,
all things are possible
to him that believeth.
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them,
With men this is impossible; but
with God
all things are possible
.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things
through Christ
which strengtheneth me.
