Islamic Piracy had interfered with US shipping early in the history of our GREAT NATION.

our response was to talk and seek peace, total fail, we had never interacted with this group before and assumed they could be negotiated with like any reasonable political body.

WRONG.

so we invented the Marine Corps and killed a whole lot of bathrobe wearin wannabe tough guys. and then our problem with islame was gone for many many years.

the only reason were having problems NOW is that we tried to be nice again.

THEY ONLY SPEAK ONE LANGUAGE - VIOLENCE!

and the truth is WE are the greater poets in that tongue, although we've grown reluctant to truly unleash the dogs of war.
