[quote:~Blue Spirit~:MV80MDQ4MjQ2XzczMzQxMDM2XzRFRjFFNzRF] It's interesting to me how the ancients used music for all kinds of benefits.. Also, it's been proven to help us either mentally, physically or emotionally depending on what we are "using" music for... I believe we should bring the art of music back into our lives more as in this day and age, it can get quite stressful with working and daily life in general... This will lower a lot of people's blood pressures and help them with any health problems should they just take at least 10 minutes a day to unwind with some music.. A friendlier and less stressful society.. :-).. I'm listening to some nice, "unwinding" music atm... [/quote]

Anyone heard of or tried music therapy?
I've looked into it all and have tried it out, firstly starting off with it in my meditations, just light melodic music first and then onto binaural beats...
I have noticed a significant change in my awareness levels becoming more crystal clear in my meditations and in my daily waking life...
I'm a massive sufferer of anxiety and panic attacks.. I have noticed by "tuning in" in my meditations whilst using music, that my stress levels have lowered and I've not felt anxious as much as I used to...I've noticed my blood pressure has lowered too to a certain extent..
I really do believe there may be some truth to this using music therapy and there are many benefits to our mental, physical and emotional health...
It's been being used for centuries and there have been reports of significant changes in people's mental health as well as emotionally and physically...
Anyways, just putting it out there to any who are interested :-)...
