[quote:Anonymous Coward 72595560:MV80MDU2NjQ2XzczNDk0MjI2X0UyQ0FEMEUz] Trying to grow some for my husband right now. He love to stir fry them with egg. It is my first go to grow them so we'll see how it goes. [/quote]

It apparently has some compound in it that mimics insulin and helps lower blood sugar. I got some for my dad the other day and we tried it yesterday. It claims to actually cure type 2 diabetes. I think you have to eat it with each meal but it also says be careful because your blood sugar can drop too low.
I didn't test his sugar after his meal yesterday because he started out at 93!!
It really doesn't taste too bitter for me or my dad. I crave bitter flavors and this isn't any more bitter than dandelion something I consume daily. My dad asked I put it in his juice and he drank it up like a champ. I am going to add this regularly to his juices.

there are recipes on how to cook it an you have to draw out the bitterness but it's very tolerable if you don't have a sweet tooth.
