This gives retailers 32 days of sales before Christmas. For stores dependent upon Christmas sales, the worst is when Thanksgiving falls on the 28th, which is only 26 days of shopping.
No worries. Walmart already has xmas stuff out one aisle besides the halloween crap
I live in Central America. Our Costco (Pricesmart) has that stuff out in September. I worked for a goldsmith for the year that Christmas shopping season was only 26 days. It was interesting to see that the ore shopping days, the better the sales, which were fairly consistent day to day during the holidays. I hate Christmas after having to work retail during holidays. Never again.
What the f*ck? Since when is thanksgiving the fourth Thursday?
I have ALWAYS known it was the third Thurs! So much so that I even made my vacation week this year the third week.
Went to go book an RV for it and found out it's the fourth Thursday. And when I looked it up online trying to figure out why it was so late this year, everything said it's always been the fourth Thurs.
Ok... Who else remembers it ALWAYS being the third Thursday?
This is just tripping me out.
