[quote:Anonymous Coward 73116260:MV80MDY0MTkzXzczNjQ1ODkxX0RBMzFFNERF] [quote:Anonymous Coward 57957030:MV80MDY0MTkzXzczNjMzNDY2XzVEOUMxNzFB] When you see corruption scream it from the roof tops, or in this case a high school graduation. Theres an old saying,"all it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to not speak up". Still holds true. By the way, the smartest students made out okay despite drunk or indifferent teachers. What about the poor rest of the kids going to crap schools?! These kids truly need excellent teachers and counselors to be winners but the schools are failing them miserably. Hats off to this brave young woman for calling out the bad teachers and counselors so future students may be luckier. This is war people. Our whole world is going down to hell. This young girl was a warrior, standing bravely, alone at the podium, with an army of cultural, children and country destroyers watching, waiting to pounce on her. This girl is our hero and a hero for other students because she has called out corruption, she did not shirk her responsibility even though grown ups around her did. She's fighting the good fight. Ihope we have billions more like her that will say, hell no, to corruption!
But what corruption did she see? Did the counselor really put her on the back burner or is she just bitching because she didn't get as much attention as she wanted? Counselors have 500-700 students or more PER COUNSELOR! They are normally hugely overworked. If you have that many students to work with, how many times can you meet with that one squeaky wheel? She blasted the front office for not telling her about scholarship application due dates until the day before. Well, that is not their job to hunt down every student in the school to let them know about every one of the thousands of scholarships and to remind them again and again to turn them in on time! WTH is that for being lazy? Schools publish lists and websites where scholarships can be found. It is the students' responsibility to fill out the applications by the due date. She's actually blaming school staff for not doing what was her responsibility to do! Now the drunk teacher? Well, who hasn't seen an employee at work drunk at one time or another? It happens. The school did the right thing to have that person escorted out. Has she ever engaged in underaged drinking or vaped or smoked pot? How would she like to be publicly humiliated. This girl is just bad news.
