[quote:Anonymous Coward 70309345:MV80MDcxODY2XzczODM1NDYwX0MzQzZEQkY1] I wonder if she tried to get her old job back. Also credit ratings aren't the big deal they are made out to be in some cases. I was looking at some Tulsa properties where she says she lives. Now they go from over a million to in some places but plenty under 25,000. Just small 1-2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen and living room but a place all her own. Neighborhood might not be the best but at least a start or re-start to begin making better choices for herself. She would probably have a much higher interest rate due to finances (for a couple of years) but maybe she could take the 2,000 from GFM and put it toward a small house or condo unit. It would be her's and most loans only require you live there for 1 year at which time she could sell if things get better. My take is she has aligned herself with some toxic people including her own family. It's tough but sometimes you have to cut the toxic people including family members out. I had to do it and once done, it's like setting down a large bag of bricks. It's just a relief. You can keep praying for them but you don't have to take their advice or socialize with them. If she keeps up with her mortgage payments for 6 months she could get a car providing she has a driving license. She didn't mention only that she ride a bus. [/quote]

I was forced to resign from a full-time job I've had the past 3 years last month after an illness (pneumonia) and excessive absenteeism due to the illness and a family member's death.
I am currently waiting for my unemployment claim to be approved while I continue job hunting every day.
Today is the last day for me to pay rent plus late charges or I am going to be evicted. I've been living paycheck to paycheck these past 3 year so I have no money saved up for such an event as this.
Does anyone know if the judges who handle these cases are sympathetic to the length of time it takes for unemployment to be approved?
I don't plan on sneaking out and not paying- in fact, I don't have anywhere to go if I did.
I've never been in this position before and was wondering if anyone has any answers?
Prayers of encouragement would be very much appreciated.
Miggy
PS. If I had anything of value I would sell it but I own very little belongings and they're not really worth anything.
