[quote:**Watcher**:MV80MDc5NDk0Xzc0MTk4OTI3X0EzNjAwRDJD] [quote:THE LATHE OF HEAVEN:MV80MDc5NDk0XzczOTI2NjUwX0M3RTJCM0I0] Before i coninue onto the quantum and very supernatural next part, i will leave you with this - "Elton John's singing of Candle in the Wind became the emotional peak of the funeral. It was at this moment that many of those who had not already done so wept. Yet what most people had forgotten was the omen which occurred at Prince William's christening, and was noticed as such by Sir Laurens van der Post, his godfather. Sir Laurens was a close friend of Jung, the man who did more than anyone else this century both to give astrology a twentieth century relevance and provide us with a philosophical framework for the understanding of omens. After William's Christening, Sir Laurens related the following curious story, which was published in a South African magazine in 1983: '"It was a very simple ceremony - and a remarkable thing happened. The windows of the music room were open, the sun streaming in - and then the sky went grey, as a great storm gathered. Just as the Archbishop of Canterbury handed over a lighted candle, a violent gust of wind blew through the windows. The candle flickered - but did not go out". Sir Laurens recalled how his friend Jung once had an important dream, of standing in a great storm holding a lighted candle - how vital it had been that the candle should not be blown out, and how, when he awoke, he took great comfort from the fact that he had managed to keep the flame burning. When I asked him whether he had told Prince Charles about Jung's dream, Sir Laurens said: "Oh yes, of course. He understands these things."' According to the article this event was clearly regarded by Sir Laurens as a powerful omen, and interpreted to Prince Charles as such."
The part I bolded above blew me away. I will relate to you an eyewitness experience my husband had when he and his family attended Prince William's first public appearance later the same day as William's christening. My husband was 12 at the time and his family was vacationing in London. They went very early in the morning to stand outside Buckingham Palace so they could get a good spot to see the baby prince. His family was standing right behind the Palace gate right in front of the balcony where they brought him out. My husband said the morning was beautiful and sunny but right after Prince William was brought out, the sky got dark and a huge storm formed right over the Palace. They rushed the baby Prince back in and the crowd tried to disburse quickly as the storm got darker. Just as my husband and his family left their spot against the Palace gate, lightning struck the gate near where they had been and he said they saw some people get hurt. They rushed back to their hotel room to watch the news and see if the people that were hurt were okay but the news never mentioned anything about the storm. Years later when my husband related this experience to me, we searched online to see if we could find any news about this storm at Prince William's first public appearance but we only found one mere mention. It was a quote by Lady Di's father (Prince William's Grandfather) who was quoted as saying that "the Prince's first appearance to the public was cut short by a 'SUPERNATURAL STORM'!" That quote has since been scrubbed from the web. If my husband hadn't been there to see this first hand, I would never have known but I have had my eye on Prince William ever since. Just too strange that lightning would strike and injure people at the first public appearance of this baby. Seeing the quote from the article you posted above is the first time I have seen there was another storm that same day during his christening. My mind is blown!
