EVERY single electrical appliance that has failed on you in the last decade or so, you can directly BLAME the COMMIE RAT BASTARD ENVIRO-NUTZ of Europe. "RoHS" made a big deal out of lead in solder. (Like kids are going to be chewing on printed circuit boards) These dirty son-of-bitches forced industry to adopt lead-free solder, resulting in "cold solder joints" which ALWAYS fail prematurely developing cracks which means an early demise for your appliance. The only GOOD left-wing rat bastard is a DEAD left-wing rat bastard.
Just got a Keurig machine though I really prefer my French Press.
Those machines make terrible coffee. Used one for years...and one day i grabbed a cup of real coffee from a diner...i was blown away, i had forgot what REAL coffee brew tasted like, night vs day. The issue with the keurig is that the hit water is quickly blasted through the coffee bean grounds and is waaay to acidic and doesnt have enough of the coffee bean OILS in the cup, so it tastes like coffee but its just hot water flavored coffee and they are usually loaded with bad ingredients and extra chemicals that they obviously dont tell you about and its waaaay more expensive in the long run.
I agree. There is an ongoing WAR around here over this. A Keurig was given to her, and I told her to get rid of it because we drink WAY to much coffee to bankroll one of those turds. Plus I tried Keurig coffee and didn't like it any better than Herr Coffee. I WANT PERCOLATED COFFEE, like I remember from my youth. The smell of freshly ground percolated coffee would fill the house, but "THAT'S TOO MUCH WORK" (says she) I drink a pot or more of coffee a day, so like they say about beer, I don't buy coffee, I rent it.
