I set my standards very high. I get hit on by all types. But they all have baby mama drama, paying out the ass in child support, hating on women. So maybe they are just afraid to settle down again? I don’t know I guess I’ll takr the single road
A lot of men in your age/availability bracket - Got treated badly by women they committed to Got milked for a couple of kids, whereupon wife lost interest Got used for majority of their income with minority say in how it got spent Found out the hard way, in the modern world, there is little if any benefit to the man in a marriage relationship where the investment of decades of his life, love and money counts for little or nothing in the eyes of a wife who is "bored now!" and is looking for greener pastures. You are finding yourself competing against a lot of other women in your age/availability category, most of whom treated their former husbands (or baby-daddies) as listed in the forgoing. And against a growing number of women who are disillusioned to learn that men are learning the deck is solidly stacked against them finding long-term happiness in a marital relationship. I understand, totally, that in the pre-liberation era, women had some problems and unfairness to contend with. These days, the problem is turned on it's head... most of the REAL problems women faced in the 40's & 50's have been dealt with but the trade-off is, men have been placed in such a position of profound disadvantage that the more successful of them are saying "enough" and opting out of marital bondage in favor of more "flexible" arrangements... and only the "loser" males who can't make it on their own, or who haven't yet woken up to smell the coffee, are still out there looking for the kind of commitment you are talking about. It simply costs them TOO MUCH for the perceived benefit (which in many cases, never lived up to it's promise by a long shot). Women don't realize it yet... but (mostly) they have done it to themselves.
:clappa:
Original Message
I have been single for a year. I am a 40 year old attractive successful single mom. I want to find someone to spend my life with. I have been recently trying to date but all that’s out there at my age is bitter recently divorced child like men who just want to have sex. I don’t and get ghosted. Is there any normal males at 40 years old ?
