I wonder why they didn't call Him the "Paschal Legume" instead of the "Paschal Lamb"?
:chuckle: EXCELLENT, I wouldn't have picked that up! YOu have fun here, Larry, I have to run and get some work done. Good to see you, and don't embarrass them TOO badly... they know not what they say :) :penguin:
remember theres 2 christianity's and one is the one most people follow.. and thats the Rome created one full of lies and not true jesus teachings Was Christ a Vegetarian? https://ivu.org/history/christian/christ_veg.html Knowledge about how the Essenes, the Nazoreans and Ebionites lived suggests that Christ was probably a vegetarian. The Essenes were _|ews who were remarkably similar to the early Christians as evinced in their deemphasis upon property and wealth, their communalism and in their rejection of animal sacrifices. The first Christians were known as the Nazoreans (not to be confused with Nazarenes), and the Ebionites were a direct offshoot from them. All three groups were vegetarian which is suggestive of the central role such a practice once played in Early Christianity. http://www.lavistachurchofchrist.org/LVarticles/DidJesusEatMeat.htm "Jesus belonged to the Essenes, who some historians believe were one of several Jewish sects that abhorred animal sacrifice and were practicing vegetarians." When Jesus drove the money changers from the temple, "he directed most of his ire at vendors in this 'den of thieves' who were selling animals for sacrifice and consumption." "There is no mention in the New Testament of Jesus eating poultry, beef, or lamb, even during the last meal with his disciples, where Scripture mentions only bread and wine." "Passages in the Bible prove that God - from the Garden of Eden on - always meant for humans to be vegetarians."
