Original Message During a flight over the Barents Sea on Wednesday, accompanied by Norwegian F16s, the American bombers practically flew inside Russian territory, coming within 60 miles(100 km) of the main administrative base of the Russian Northern Fleet.

The flight comes one week after the Northern Fleet deployed most of its submarines in a massive operation to test NATOs defenses on the route into the North-Atlantic. This also included test firing of a new ballistic missile, the Bulava.
