Original Message Sir Elton John kicked off the Australian leg of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in characteristically brash style on Saturday.

While performing at Perth's HBF Park Stadium, the 72-year-old musician yelled at a pair of security guards who were trying to remove a woman from the venue.

Footage from the concert showed Elton shouting from the stage: 'Hey, you two security guards with the girl... f**k off!'

'Let her up here immediately... come on, you c**ts!' he added.

While thousands of fans gasped at Elton's obscene language, many others could be heard cheering and clapping in the video.

But Elton wasn't finished, as he went on to label the security guards 'morons'.
