[quote:TheOracle'sCookie:MV80MjA4MTE5Xzc2NTQwMDI2XzJEREY2NjY1] There was an article right after the eruption on White Island reporting there were over 109,000 lightening strikes the NIGHT BEFORE the eruption started. https://strangesounds.org/2019/12/coincidence-109000-lightnings-strike-over-new-zealand-one-day-before-white-island-deadly-volcanic-eruption-300000-discharges-on-the-same-day.html I'm not a weatherman...but I mean...109,000 lightening strikes seems a bit over-the-top even for the electromagnetic connection a volcano would have with the ionosphere. I haven't heard of this kind of report for ANY volcano in memory. This image also was circulating a few days before this all went down (it is a plasma "arc"--something I don't believe has ever been filmed before...it's NOT a CME): :11-25-19UHoh:  O'sCookie [/quote]

Second eruption more likely
The likelihood of a further eruption in the next 24 hours has slightly increased to 50–60%, or medium likelihood, according to GeoNet.
