Original Message What do you do when a group of people, or person, are/is walking towards you on a narrow sidewalk in a park, in a town etc..

Do you remain in your same walking path or do you walk off the sidewalk to make room for them?

Is it common courtesy to move outside the walking path? Or should they move out of your way and form a single file line so that oncoming traffic can stay on path without having to step off the path?

Is it considered rude to not move and allow all people to remain on the path?
