We read in Daniel 12:4: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

God had many important doctrines sealed until the time of the end. Only then would He begin to unseal His Word and open these teachings up unto His elect people. We have been living in the "time of the end" spoken of in Daniel 12:4, since 1988.
