More humane to harvest deer, elk, moose, buffalo, etc with one bullet to the heart. Alternative for the animal is to be torn apart alive by predators , old age disease and starvation. Hunting increases the amount of organic meat that could feed many people AND reduced the need for the factory farming/feed lot raising of beef that IS cruel and unhealthy for the animal and consumer.
