[quote:Anonymous Coward 78357329:MV80Mzk5MjM5XzgwMDg4ODU5X0YzODI1OTVD] [quote:Anonymous Coward 77419313:MV80Mzk5MjM5XzgwMDg2ODAzXzhFRkYzMzM0] yep. In Atlanta, even out of milk yesterday at Kroger. I posted about this few weeks ago got called all kinds of nasty names basically told me I was a shill posting false info to try to scare people. :( Told me to f off. Real nice people on GP. Good luck! I have shut business off for a week so I can shop/try to stock up and prep. Shopping seems to be a full time job. hit up Costco Walmart Publix and Kroger yesterday. will do again in a day or two
:hesright: I completely understand. I have posted several times, even adding actual links from Walmart and Amazon showing numerous items "Out of Stock" and literally got shit on by some GLP'ers. But I have big shoulders so I actually do not care about their ignorance. I was simply trying to point out the extreme number of items that were OOS and pricing. If anyone cares to take a look for themselves, try checking on Minute Rice, all-purpose flour, sugar, spam, beanie weenies, ramen, canned chicken, chef boyardee items, etc. Look not only at the number of those items available (which have decreased by brand or decreased period) but also at the prices and if you keep scrolling down the number of OOS items. I have never seen the number of OOS items over the past 3 years I have been grocery shopping online. But hey...what do I know...LOL In fact, since November I have been ordering extra during each order because I could tell things were getting wonky with pricing and unavailable items. It was a gradual, slow change but a noticeable one to say the least. Glad I did, because now we have what we need. And, whether it is a scare tactic by TPTB, a supply chain problem or other issue, it does not matter at this point. The bottom line is, numerous items are showing OOS and prices are getting ridiculous with many items. For all of you in GLP land who have done similar and bought more than you would normally to protect yourselves and Families, good for you! For all of you who call us selfish hoarders:skull_fing:
We have used Instacart to try to buy food at Heinens, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, Target, and Aldis.
So many items which we tried to purchase were unavailable that we had to cancel the orders, except for Aldis.
At Heinens we ordered 15 items and the only thing in stock was a package of Thomas' English Muffins. Everything else was sold out. The shopper said the store was practically bare.
Milk and eggs are consistently sold out everywhere.
I don't think it's because of the holiday. Milk and eggs are not party food and many people are still quarantining.
There just seems to be a shortage of food here.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
