The county also reported five more positive cases or cases that are considered probably in new data released Monday. The extended mask order requires face coverings for every person older than 12 years old whenever in public anywhere in Boulder County that social distancing of six feet cannot be maintained. The order had been set to expire on Tuesday, but according to a release from Boulder County Public Health, the mask order will now remain in place indefinitely... https://www.timescall.com/2020/06/29/boulder-county-extends-mask-order-indefinitely/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7iOGfUdn0o
Boulder has been a socialist paradise since the 1960s. No surprises here. They certainly will not be deterred by the recent admission by Tony Fauci that the case fatality rate is under one percent, world wide. The actual number is .04 percent, I guess Fauci was not lying, just understating the facts. The fatality rate in places that did not lock down is 75 percent lower than the places with strict socialist lock downs.
Boulder County will keep its mask order in place (about 500k population here) until there is a vaccine or the virus stops transmitting.
Police will not enforce the rule.
So masks on through winter I would think. Such bad public policy.
The infection rate is less than 20 per day and there have been ZERO deaths in about two weeks.
We all need herd immunity.
