You know that low income housing (except for seniors and disabled) has a bad track record of having lousy people that do not have to pay for the rent, or not too much and so they have no interest in keeping it clean and safe.  I even read on the apartment reviews in some of the nice expensive high rises in the city, that there are low income people renting and the renters who pay full price say that the low income renters just hang around all day, like they have nothing better to do, and they look shady.  they also have a bad track record of having bratty kids run around and cause damage in and out of the apartment, running down halls, etc.

the biggest worse thing that low income renters have done was the housing projects... when they were put up in the 1930's they were nice, but then low income and criminals moved in and that's why the projects turned so bad that they had to be torn down.

 Thomas Sowell brought that up once, how housing projects used to be hard to get into because of background checks, etc. Now they're big slums of concentrated poverty, legacy of the Great Society and that evil evil man LBJ.
