The name 'China' is a Sanskrit/Persian applied name for the phonetic sounds they heard when told the name of the territory.
The actual name and title of the 'Chinese' civilization and nation is Xian - with 'Qin' being another obfuscaating rendition spelling for the first 'dynasty'.
