In which case, the article may miss important point, or may mislead. Though if you stick with high-quality newspapers known for fact-checking, the journalism is better. And if you start reading lots of high-quality newspapers to cross-reference, that helps overcome journalistic limitations. In the case of COVID, we are not just talking about a single article, we have literally thousands of media articles to read, from a diverse array of media sources. Plus if you are scientifically literate, you can read the scientific studies directly (you don't need a journalist to interpret them for you and re-write them in a simpler language).
