I wouldnt call it BS.  What Trump did do is refuse to take the bait and ride with the media narrative. He did what he should be doing like the rest of the media-- not cast judgement until an investigation is complete instead of burning down the country on a single highly manipulated video set on fire by the drive by media. Where he did fail is telling that reporter SHE should be doing the same thing for this story and every other.

I think Trump is baiting Biden on this shit.  Because of an election its actually more important to allow the knee jerk reaction of the media so the Left and Biden get sucked up into it -- then to be later disproved and exposed publicly during the debates where at least 20-30 million are going to watch. Only a small number of people are even reading his twitter or even his press conferences. Its going to be Trumps job to layout and disprove all of this bullshit in the debates.  The dems know this, and why there is already a narrative to not have them.

US President Donald Trump on Monday defended 17-year-old suspected gunman Kyle Rittenhouse, who has been charged in connection with shooting three protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin last week, including two who were fatally wounded.

When Trump was asked at a White House press conference if he defended the actions of vigilantes like Rittenhouse, he said the teenager was “violently attacked,” suggesting he acted in self-defense.

“That was an interesting situation. You saw the same tape as I saw, and he was trying to get away from them, I guess, it looks like, and he fell and then they very violently attacked him and it was something we’re looking at right now and it’s under investigation,” Trump said. “I guess he was in very big trouble. He probably would have been killed,” he added.

Rittenhouse, who reportedly supports the pro-police movement Blue Lives Matter, has been charged with two counts of homicide and one count of attempted homicide after shooting three protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Aug. 25, killing two of them.
