Lots of talk of EMP. Remember to keep your electronics protected in Faraday cages. AM/FM, SW, (smaller) HAM radios, laptops, solar chargers (if possible), and so forth.

Metal garbage cans, steel gun safes and old surplus ammo cans are quick and easy Faraday cages. DIY Faraday cages for larger/specialized equipment.

Loose topic so add in anything related that you want. Just a heads-up, especially for those of us new to HAM radio and post SHTF.

Look into solar power for recharging.
