Although we do not practice the profane superstitions of astrology, we do know that these celestial motions were all set and have meaning in the Mystery of Christ. What's one practical application for such a star plotting piece like Maitreya? Well, for example you can finally pin down the nocturnal passage of Venus on October 22, 539 B.C. which was predicted in poetic oracular annunciation through Isaiah the prophet in chapter 14 of his writing regarding the fall of 'Lucifer', that is to say the the aspect of Venus as Hesperus as the evening star fallen in the autumn, the very day that Cyrus the Great entered into Babylon in his royal train. When Venus was above the sun it was called Phosphorus the Morning Star. When it fell behind the sun, it was called Hesperus the Evening Star. There are many uses for such an application, and some may even pertain to martial intelligence in the present world. I consider Isaiah 14 to be one example of an ancient divine oracle that was purely astrological in nature that absolutely was fulfilled in the finest detail. http://www.strictlygenteel.co.uk/babylon/babylon13.html As you can see in the Greek Septuagint translation of the 70 translators in the 2nd century BC, they translate it as 'hesphorus', and I think they correctly translate the original intent of the Prophet here. What is remarkable from history is that we know for certain that Cyrus did in fact enter Babylon as conqueror on October 22, 539 BC. And it just so happens that this was the first day Venus transited into its fallen aspect as the nocturnal evening star behind the sun. The very same day. That is a remarkable fulfillment of a Biblical prophecy. [imgur]https://imgur.com/zWjzKXI [/imgur] [/quote]

If you're using Maitreya on Linux, or Windows (or whatever you use to aid your stargazing), I just thought I'd show you how to set a Fagan-Bradley Ayanamsa so you'll get some more accurate positioning results than going on default tropical.
