Original Message I always feel a bit annoyed when someone wants to work out with me. My workout is tailored to me. Plus I go for 3 to 4 hours. Most are not gonna keep up with me. So by working out with them, I'm actually am having to play down to their level. I never understood why people need partners to motivate them to workout. If you can't motivate yourself, you're in trouble.

How should I tell them that I workout for hours and if they can't keep up with me, it does me no good? Is that rude? It really annoys me how friends who have never worked out actually ask me if they can join in.
