I meant to say babies, not puppies:

The article goes on to mention that to obtain living fetal cell line, the tissue must come from a live donor. The infants were cut up while they were still alive.
Bet a lot of you breathed a sigh of relief, didn’t you? After all, it was only human infants, not cuddly fur babies, right?
