I donate my O-negative blood to the American Red Cross every 60 days.
Today, for the first time, they set up a $2,500 thermal face recognition camera to allegedly “take your temperature”.
I specifically asked, “Is this using facial recognition technology just to take my temperature?”
They replied, “Oh, no, not at all! It’s just taking your temp.”
Apparently, they’ve been instructed to LIE to people about their blood biometrics being matched to their identity AND their face.
I took a picture of the device:

....and here it is on the manufacturer’s website. The description and video clearly state it is a FACIAL RECOGNITION camera also using thermal scanning:

Here’s a video on the company website describing the camera’s use:

. There is NO way the Red Cross is forking out $2,500 per camera setup just to “take your temperature”. It’s obvious that the manufacturer is PAYING the Red Cross to use these cameras to capture your face and identity, and since the Red Cross is taking a full pint of your blood PLUS four additional vials, they also have a full analysis of your DNA and blood components.
The implications are very disturbing.
