I've worked on my cars since high school and never have I had an issue like this where I can't seem to resolve it.
I'm literally on the 3rd hub assembly (pre-pressed w/bearings) and this truck will not accept them.
First two were Dorman's, 2nd was Carquest. Typically I'd go OEM but the Dorman's actually looked like a direct OE fit so I don't see how that can bee the problem.
Proper torque applied to all nuts and bolts with a good torque wrench. Axle nut was torqued to 175.
First installation was on tight with no wobble, but made a lot of grinding noise and you could tell the bearings weren't spinning freely. I replaced it, and when it removed it you could see the bearings overheated and shot their grease out so it must have been bound in there pretty good.
Second hub assembly+bearings, slightly more wobble than first time but still fairly tight feeling but the grinding howling noise was bad.
THIRD time, I get it out of town and up to 60mph and the wheel starts violently wobbling and shaking and feeling like it was going to go flying off. It had a horrible burning smell, possibly stuck brakes not entirely sure, and definitely felt unsafe to drive.
WTF is going on here? Everything was taken apart and reassembled as per the Dorman and Carquest manuals with proper torque.
