a bunch of organic molecules swirling around, bouncing off each other, sometimes combining, sometimes breaking apart, with all their energy being fed from the sun

and they just knew how to create an umbilical cord to the mother to nourish the fetus until it becomes born and no longer needs it

and the baby just knows how to begin breathing, eating drinking once he or she exits from the womb
