Original Message People act like it is mysterious and they don't understand it.

Every human being born is born spiritually dead. We are born into this physical world and our entire life is spent trying to meet our physical needs. Hunger, thirst, physical touch, boredom, etc. That is all the spiritually dead person can do.

Adam and Eve were created spiritually alive and God dwelt with them physically and spiritually. They chose to sin and God's spirit was removed from them. All of their progeny, all of us ever born, are born spiritually dead. We then make a choice in life to follow our dead spirit, or to seek God.

Jesus sacrificed Himself and paid the price for all sin, past and future. He did it all. Now all a person has to do is believe in Jesus Christ and ask for His forgiveness. That person is given the Holy Spirit and redeemed. Born again from above.

When man tries to make things better of his own accord, or tries to be "good", that man will only achieve his own goals, not God's. And man's goals and good intentions always head towards evil. When a man is born again from above, He is changed at the heart and mind level. A saved person will still struggle with his flesh while they are in fhe flesh, but God will be with him and work through him where the man chooses to remove his own wants from fhe equation.
