Do you think WWII vets would still have fought for freedom if they knew what society is like now?

[quote:Educated Redneck:MV80ODQyMjQzXzg4NDEwNTg3Xzc5NDgzM0U2] [quote:Anonymous Coward 79950932:MV80ODQyMjQzXzg4NDAzNDcyX0EwQUQzN0NG] [quote:Anonymous Coward 72497887:MV80ODQyMjQzXzg4NDAzMjU3X0U2N0NERDcw] My Grandfather was one of 3,000 Men in the US 106th Infantry that were ordered by US command to lay down their rifles and surrender to the Nazis on Dec 21st 1944. They were loaded into Boxcars headed to Nazi Stalag 4B. Grandfather weighed 89lbs when that camp was liberated. Enlisted weight was 160lbs. Blue-eyed Christian for the record. When he heard my Brother speaking of enlisting he lost his shit and said Hell NO!
The end of the war was not a good time to be a prisoner in Germany. Supplies were actually completely cut off by allied bombing raids. This is well known to all serious WW2 historians. Ordinarily the Germans treated allied prisoners fairly, like prisoners of war. The concentration camps in Germany were never made or intended to dispose of undesirables, the camps were for forced labor. A lot of the hollowcost story came from wartime atrocity propaganda that actually showed either the results of allied bombing on supply lines or in some cases from Typhus die offs. The irony of all of it this, the ZYCLON-B "gas" was actually the one supply they DESPERATELY NEEDED because it's purpose was to prevent the spread of typhus by vermin and it worked extremely well. Look people, you know it's horseshit if you just think about it logically for a minute; why in the hell would Hitler waste so much resources and energy disposing of people he didn't like? He usually just blitzkrieged them or had them popped of one to the base of the skull. The whole hollowcost shit was made up to seem inhumane and terrifying so we would have sympathy for the "victims".
I see the neoNazi cocksuckers are back. Like this dummkopf. Dude learn what the hell you are talking about! For example you "ask why in the hell would Hitler waste so much resources and energy disposing of people he didn't like"? But if you knew anything about WWII you would know that late in 1944 with the war lost the people of Warsaw Poland rose up against their Nazi occupiers. The Germans were finally able to overcome the uprising and Hitler ordered that the city be destroyed. With the Soviets within a couple of hundred miles and the western Allies pushing across France Hitler order the men, fuel and explosives to destroy 25 churches, 14 libraries, 145 schools, virtually all the historic buildings in the city as well as hospitals, and even the roads! The Nazis wasted a lot of resources throughout the war on things like that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy1kOwUyEsM Likewise with the Holocaust they killed many people and used precious resources to do it. But it didn't create much of a shortage of people since the Nazis seized 12-15 million civilians, mostly from Eastern Europe to be slave labor. Many of these slave laborers died in the dangerous and unsanitary work camps. And dude wrote this jewel: "He usually just blitzkrieged them or had them popped of one to the base of the skull." And this is how the Nazis killed many. Early in the war German kill squads called Einsatzgruppen killed about 2 million civilians across the Eastern Front. But it was very hard on the troops to round up men, women and children and gun them down day after day. Heinrich Himmler attended one of the mass executions and an old woman's brains were splattered on him when she was shot and he became sick. So the Germans came up with a better way to kill people on an industrial scale without soldiers having to just shoot men, women and children.
Your grandfathers, fathers, and uncles fought and died because they believed they were fighting for a good cause.
Do you think they would have fought so valiantly if they knew what happened to the world, and how it turned out?
People pissing on the American flag, not standing for the US National Anthem, the "migrant" invasion of France and England?
